Technology Training Workshops

Through partnership with Delhi based NGO Sukhad, Project Safalta conducted a series of technical training workshops using the Safalta Technology Training Program. Students from the NGO’s community were taught basics of computer usage and programming, and learned to navigate different softwares and tools for future professional success. Workshops included interactive elements and exercises to ensure hands-on learning.

Safalta Fundraiser

To ensure a sustained impact on the students & young adults of NGO Sukhad, Project Safalta carried out a fundraising campaign through platform Milaap. The fundraiser successfully raised INR 1,05,000 with all funds directly going towards the NGOs procurement of laptops for student usage at the NGO.

Safalta Professional Support Program

In order to seek broader access to professional support, the next stage in the project, the Safalta Professional Support Program, was launched. This project involves conducting session on the following topics:

  1. Job search techniques, resources & Online employment resources: Linkedin - This session covered how to participate in effective job search strategies, including leveraging LikedIn as a networking tool, strengthening professional online presence and uncovering job opportunities.

  2. CV development, using a novel template - This session plan covered methods of mastering the art of crafting a compelling CV, using unique templates, in order to highlight your strengths, achievements to potential employers.

  3. Interview skills, techniques, resources - This session will provide insights into following best practices for successful interviews; techniques to confidently present your qualifications/resources to assist with the preparation for a wide range of interviewing scenarios.

Safalta Professional Success Program

The Safalta Professional Success Program will help raise INR 1 lakh 5 thousand and donate computers to members of Sukhad. It will also aid in assisting the training of young adults through the technology program and professional support programs. In collaboration with Sukhad, the programme seeks to help place people in their new digital marketing training branch. Students and young adults will use the computers donated to enter the professional space through the growing field of media and with the resources from the project, be provided the opportunity to train their younger peers in professional skills.
